With over 44 years of legal experience in trials, claims evaluation, mediation and appellate law in both state and federal courts, Bruce Burleson brings the experience you need to the mediation table.
Having served as a briefing attorney for a federal appellate judge, a trial attorney, a mediator, and an in-house counsel in a large healthcare system, Bruce has seen cases from every perspective. As a trial lawyer he was Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in both Personal Injury and Civil Trial Law and tried multiple cases to a jury verdict. As a Vice President and Assistant General Counsel with Baylor Scott & White he was a Certified Professional Healthcare Risk Manager. In this capacity he reviewed and evaluated claims and suits in multiple areas, including medical and nursing malpractice, general liability, auto claims, property damage claims, prompt pay and other managed care cases, and multiple other types of disputes.
Bruce understands the importance of resolving disputes from litigation, business and personal perspectives, and will work with all sides of a dispute to bring the parties together, avoiding the uncertainty of an actual trial. He is available for mediations, dispute resolutions, and independent case evaluations, either in person or through Zoom.
